Chick-fil-A is considered a top tier fast food option due to its consistently friendly and efficient service and welcoming family atmosphere. The company’s success has been built on a foundation of extensive staff training to ensure positive customer interactions and operational innovations like drive-thru assistance to maintain speedy delivery even through the peak meal-time rush.
Who are we kidding? It’s all about the chicken! Senior Izonnah Perry said, “Chick-fil-A is fresh, very tasty and everything is real.”
My first experience trying Chick-fil-A was when I was 13 and my family had just finished watching “Lyle, Lyle the Crocodile” at North Haven Cinemark. I remember ordering the 8-piece grilled chicken nuggets with waffle fries and a side of BBQ sauce. To wash it down I ordered a Sprite and a vanilla milkshake with no cherry (I don’t like candy jar cherries!). I didn’t open the food until I got home and returned to my bedroom to watch “Shameless” on Netflix. I couldn’t even focus on the show because I was enjoying my Chick-fil-A so much! I started dancing around my room with my Sprite in one hand and my BBQ dipping sauce in the other!
And that’s another reason why so many enjoy Chick-fil-A. They have plenty of reduced fat and heart-healthy menu items unlike many greasy fast food restaurants. You can order grilled chicken like I did and pair it with a salad or fruit (no cherries!).
Chick-fil-A also offers a reward program where customers can earn points towards free food to battle the high cost of eating out. If Chick-fil-A’s popularity keeps you away, you can also choose to order from them through DoorDash.
Just don’t try to visit Chick-fil-A on a Sunday. They will be closed because in 1946, founder S. Cathy Truett wanted to establish an employee-friendly policy for workers to have a day off to spend time with family and worship. Chick-fil-A’s charity support for anti-LGBTQ+ organizations has caused them some ethical troubles with customers. But I promise you that does not change the wonderful flavor of their chicken!
