Graduation Rehearsal
Graduation rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Seniors should report to CO-OP by 8:00 am and meet in the cafeteria. Students will walk over to the Shubert Theatre at 9:30 am. Please arrive on time.
Senior Breakfast — Students Only
Senior Breakfast will be held at the Omni on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 9:00 am.
Caps and gowns, yearbooks, graduation tickets, and other graduation items will be distributed at this event. All school-issued devices and materials must be returned in order for students to receive their graduation items.
Senior Yearbooks
Senior yearbooks will be distributed during the Senior Breakfast on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
Graduation and Diploma Pickup
Graduation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Shubert Theatre.
Graduates should arrive at CO-OP by 12:00 pm and assemble in the cafeteria. Please arrive on time.
Diplomas may be picked up after graduation at the Main Entrance of CO-OP on College Street.
Families are encouraged to review the schedule carefully and make sure students arrive on time each day with any materials needed for their exams and graduation activities. Thank you for your continued support as we close out the school year.

Join us for the Visual Arts Summer Gallery Opening on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School. This special gallery opening will feature artwork by Rowan Sardegna Barnes and celebrate the creativity of our Visual Arts students. Admission is free, and light snacks will be provided. Guests should enter through the College and Crown Street entrance at 177 College Street, New Haven, CT. We hope to see you there!

Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School proudly presents Dance Springfest Performance on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 6:30 PM for one night only at the Shubert Theatre, 247 College Street, New Haven, CT. Please note the change in venue for this performance, and because of the size of the audience at the Shubert, doors and the lobby will open one hour before showtime rather than 30 minutes before the performance. We encourage families and supporters to get their tickets now for this special evening celebrating the talent, artistry, and hard work of our CO-OP dance students. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, and tickets are available in the arts office during lunch waves and at the door, while supplies last. This show will sell out. Directed by Stephen Hankey, Christine Kershaw-Hobson, and Tavon Dudley ’09, this promises to be an exciting CO-OP showcase, and we hope you will join us in supporting our student performers on stage at the Shubert.




Join us on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall at Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School, 177 College Street, New Haven, CT for our National Arts Honor Society Induction & Gallery Opening. This special event will celebrate the induction of student artists into the National Arts Honor Society and showcase outstanding student artwork as part of the gallery opening.
Guests should enter through the College and Crown Street entrance. Admission is free, and light refreshments will be served during the gallery opening. The gallery will remain open during performances from March 25 through May 7. We look forward to welcoming families, students, staff, and community members for an evening celebrating creativity, achievement, and the visual arts at CO-OP.

Join us on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. for The Pages We Grew Up In, a special presentation from CO-OP High School’s Creative Writing Department. This event celebrates the books, stories, and characters that shaped our childhoods and inspired our love of reading and writing.
The event will take place at Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School, 177 College Street, New Haven, CT. Guests should enter through the College and Crown Street entrance. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, cash only. Tickets are available in the Arts Office during lunch waves. Please note that the ticket policy is available by QR code on the event flyer.

CO-OP High School’s classified juniors in the Class of 2027 will participate in SAT Day on Thursday, March 26, beginning promptly at 8:00 AM. Students should arrive on time and bring their fully charged school-issued device for testing. Room assignments will be shared in Google Classroom, and testing tickets will be issued on the day of the exam. Students are also encouraged to prepare and practice in Bluebook in advance. We wish all of our juniors the very best as they show what they know on SAT Day!

Families and community members are invited to purchase a CO-OP High School Yearbook Ad to celebrate a graduating senior or promote a business. Ads are cash only and available in the following sizes: Full Page ($150; 8.5” x 11”), Half Page ($85; 8.5” x 5.5”), or Quarter Page ($70; 4.25” x 5.5”). As a result of tomorrow’s inclement weather forecast, all New Haven Public Schools will be closed. This includes all before- and after-school programs.
Please also note that a citywide parking ban will go into effect beginning Sunday, February 22 at 12:00 PM (noon) and will remain in effect until lifted by the City.

CO-OP families are invited to join a free Virtual Adult Financial Empowerment Workshop Series hosted by Financial Scholars.
The six-week series runs Tuesdays, March 3 through April 7, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Sessions will cover budgeting, credit, mortgages, investing, insurance, and college affordability.
The first 20 participants who complete all six sessions will receive a $250 contribution to their child’s 529 or qualifying education savings account. (One-time offer; past recipients not eligible.)

Coming Soon! CO-OP’s Theatre Department is proud to present Chicago: Teen Edition, lighting up the stage on March 10, 11, and 12 at 6:30 PM at Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School. Featuring bold performances, iconic music, and dazzling choreography, this student production brings the classic story of ambition, fame, and spectacle to life. Tickets are $10 for students and $20 for adults and can be purchased in the Arts Office during lunch waves. Don’t miss this electrifying musical event; only at CO-OP!
